At Kennewick Baptist Church, we are a community of individuals who follow Jesus Christ.  He is the focus of all we are and do.  Because of our saving relationship with Him, we desire to be a people characterized by:

TRUTH:  Jesus said that He is truth (John 14:6).  We want to know Him intimately, live according to the truth of His Word, share His gospel, and conduct ourselves in a way that brings glory and honor to His name.

LOVE:  Christ told us that the best thing we could do to follow Him would be to love God first, and love others as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40).  We want to be a people characterized by our love for God, each other, and our community.

SERVICE:  Our Savior lived the life of a servant, and His behavior is our model (John 13:14-17).  We want to be known as a servant-hearted people who relevantly meet the needs of those around us through the truth and love of Christ (Matthew 5:16).

MISSION:  Christ has commanded us to be "on mission" (Matthew 28:18-20).  We are His witnesses and ambassadors whereever we go (2 Corinthians 5:20).  As we live our daily lives, we want to be a people constantly aware of our "mission" in life . . . always mindful of the opportunities Christ brings our way to be ministers of His gospel and love (Acts 1:8).

As a local church body, Kennwick Baptist Chruh partners with the Columbia Basin Baptist Association (CBBA), the Northwest Baptist Convention (NWBC), and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).  We have links to these organiziations featured on our home page.
