When Paul writes to Timothy about the qualifications of a deacon, he does so in a the midst of a chaotic situation where the integrity of the church and the message of the gospel has been compromised because of careless and wandering church leaders. Paul encourages his young understudy to appoint men who are servants and have a heart that is focused on their Lord. THIS MESSAGE WAS DELIVERED AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE PROCESS OF NOMINATING NEW DEACONS TO SERVE THE BODY HERE AT KBC.
